Examination and Criteria of Promotion
1.
The academic year is divided into two terms. During the year, students have to appear in tests taken regularly which form the basis of their continuous assessment. The students have to appear in two Summative Exams also conducted at the end of every term.
2.
The final result is based on the progress made in daily work, the average of the marks in formative tests and summative examinations.
3.
A student is not allowed to miss any test/exam as no retest is conducted in any case.
4.
Results declared at the end of the year are final in all cases and are not reconsidered.
 
School Fees
1.
The payment of the fees is bimonthly. Fees must be paid by the 10th of the due month.
2.
A fine of Rs. 10/- per day is charged after the 10th of the due month.
3.
The name of the student is struck of the rolls if the fees is not paid by the 30/31st of the due month. Re-admission in such cases is charged after that along with payment of pending dues.
 
Leave Rules
1.
Parents must apply in writing if a student is required at home during the school hours. No student is sent home with another person without a written letter from the parents.
2.
For protracted absence due to illness, a medical certificate must be submitted. A student returning after illness must produce a clearance certificate from a qualified doctor.
3.
Repeated absence without leave and continued absence from school for more than 10 days without prior sanction of leave may result in the name of student being struck off the rolls.
4.
All students are expected to attend school on the reopening day after each vacation. Those who are absent without leave are fined.
 
Parent Teacher Meetings
Parents and guardians are required to attend the Parent Teacher Meetings which are held on a bimonthly basis for which prior notification is sent to the Parents.These meetings facilitate a proper interaction between the parent and teacher and enable the teacher to update the parents on the progress of the child.
 
School Uniform
On all class days and at school functions, the students are expected to wear the uniform prescribed for the season.
 
Withdrawals
A notification is sent before the end of academic session to the Parents. In case a Parent wishes to withdraw his/her ward from the school, he/she must apply in writing within the stipulated time. In absence of such an application, two months fee will be charged. School leaving certificate is issued only after all the outstanding dues have been paid by the parent. Students who leave the school without clearing their dues will not be entitled to any sort of testimonials from the school.
